Mango Export from India: Delivering the King of Fruits (Alphonso, Kesar, Banginapalli) to the World
The Indian summer is synonymous with one thing: Mangoes. As the "King of Fruits," Indian mangoes are celebrated globally for their unparalleled sweetness, aroma, and lack of fibrous pulp. Govindu Brothers Enterprises brings the finest seasonal varieties to the global table.
Our Premium Varieties
Alphonso (Hapus)
Sourced from the Konkan coast, mostly Ratnagiri. Known for its rich, creamy texture, vibrant saffron color, and incredible sweetness. It is the most exported variety.
Kesar (The Queen)
Ideally from Gujarat, Kesar is distinct for its bright orange pulp and intense aroma. It offers a longer shelf life, making it excellent for export.
Banginapalli (Benishan)
The pride of Andhra Pradesh. Large, golden-yellow, and incredibly juicy with very thin skin. It holds a GI (Geographical Indication) tag, certifying its authenticity to the region.
The Challenge of Perishability
Mangoes are highly perishable, making export a logistical challenge. Govindu Brothers excels in cold-chain management:
- Pre-Cooling & Vapor Heat Treatment (VHT): Essential for markets like Japan and New Zealand to eliminate fruit flies and extend shelf life without chemicals.
- Controlled Atmosphere (CA) Containers: We use advanced reefer containers that regulate oxygen and carbon dioxide levels to slow down the ripening process during transit.
- Air Freight: For highly sensitive markets, we enable express air shipments to ensure fruits reach the shelves within 24-48 hours of harvest.
